Im looking for a good experience that I can hang on my wall and be able to hook my PS3 up to it when I feel like gaming. Please help

I have an entertainment center right now w/ my small TV that I’ll put upstairs. I’m getting a 42 inch wall mounted. I still need to put my cable box, DVD player, and stereo somewhere. Does anyone have any specific piece of furniture/credenza they recommend? Thanks!!

My bedroom is 12×14 with cream walls I was thinking it might look very cool to paint the wall flat black then when we are watching tv at night it would be more theater like. If this would not Look right throw in your idea I wil read them al so thanks to you for your answers.

i want to order a wall mount and i found a cheap price for one on amazon. It says that it fits flat screen tvs up to 37 inches but will it definetally fit tvs in that range no matter what or is there a chance that some tvs wont be able to get mounted on to.

Here is our new living room.

As you can see there is a cutout area above the fireplace for a TV. It has power and a cable hookup in the cutout area. The hole is 20 inches deep and will comfortably fit a 40" Sony Bravia TV.

Is the logical solution to just use a base for the tv and set it in that hole?

Are there advantages to doing a wall-mount in this situation?

If the online specs give a weight with and without the tv stand does that mean it is indeed wall mountable?

Also, wall mounts seem to come in sizes 22-37 in and 37-55 in, etc… if you got a 37 inch tv, do you get the bigger mount?

My trailer hardly has any 2x4s in it so how to i put my tv up on to the wall?

I’m currently at a hotel that has a really nice LCD 32 in flat screen wall mounted tv…..I brought the PS2 for games/movies and find out the room doesnt have a DVD player and so I plugg in my PS2 to the correct inputs and find out that the input button is blocked so you cannot go to the input channel….the menu button on the TV is also blocked….(I press them and nothing happens) I called the service desk and they said that they have done this to prevent use of dvd players which makes you purchase their expensive pay per view movies….
-Im having trouble finding the model number but again its a 32 in lcd flat panel tv
-Ive tried going down in channels to find the input channel with no luck

a possible solutions i thought of
-purchase a unversal remote control and program it to the tv which could allow me to use the input button

there must be some kind of button sequence on the tv that allows you to access the input channels or menu funtion

please help me out
looking at a manual for the tv online it looks like with parental controls you can block the input channels….but the menu is still blocked….hmm and even if i get into the menu…the parental controls would have a password on it….
-is there a way to reset the tv?
Ok 3 of you so far say theres no way and the 4th guy (that is how I have it connected but again the hotel has the input channel locked)

I found out how to do it
-I bought the ps2 RF modulator which allows you to use the cable going into the tv which allows you to use channel 4 for playing movies/games

My kids took a crayon to my new flat screen tv (not the old glass type). How can I get it off? I know WD-40 is dynamite for removing crayon from walls, but can’t imagine it would be safe for the tv. Help!!!

I saw a mount for flat screen TVs (in Sears) that was four small studs that fit the back of the TV and four small "holders" that fit screw on to the wall. There was no swivel capability so the TV would not move. The sales rep cannot remember the brand. THere were priced around .00. Any one know the brand?? Thank you.

Hah yep. We’ve been married one year since yesterday and we celebrated and each bought an anniversary present for the other. I bought him something he’s been wanting for years, and he was ecstatic. His present for me is a different story… he bought a flatscreen tv.. to hang on our bedroom wall. Seems like he bought it for himself, because I don’t even like watching TV especially in bed when I’m strictly in there for two things, and watching television is not one of those.

I tried not to make a big deal because I didn’t want to start a fight on our special day. I just told him that something more thoughtful would have been nice. I’m not demanding a new anniversary gift or anything… but blah. I’m just disappointed and feel as though he’s not taking this seriously.

What do you think? Am I over reacting?
Yep. I wanted a pair of earrings, I even pointed them out to him a week ago, so he would know exactly where to get them.

We have a toddler & are considering the option to mount our new flat screen to the wall. However, we live in an older home with plaster walls. We would have the store (Best Buy) mount it for us to insure that it was safely done.
Has anyone experienced any problems with mounting your TV? I’m also wondering about how ugly the wires & cables will look hanging down???

I’m wall mounting my flat screen, and I want to know how I can get it so the cords aren’t visible? Everyone else doesn’t have their cords visible, so I’m a little confused.

A friend of mine gave me a flat screen television and I’m anxious to put it up BUT I don’t want to hang it on the wall. I want to it to sit on my entertainment center but it doesn’t have a stand. So is it possible to find a stand if it did’t come with one? If so, where can I buy just the stand.
